If you do not live in the San Marcos, TX area you can send us your unwanted gold, silver and platinum items.  Once we receive your package we will inventory the contents, evaluate and weigh the items, then we will e-mail or call you with an offer. If you accept our offer we will mail you a check immediately. If you decide not to accept our offer we will send all of your items back to you at our expense.

What type of items do you buy?

What if I am not sure if some of my jewelry or coins are 'real' gold, silver or platinum?

Go ahead and bring or send them anyway. We have the latest equipment to determine the exact purity of your items. The various testing miethods are simple and quick.

What if my jewelry has semi-precious stones or diamonds?

Since we do not purchase stones we recommend that you remove any stones that you would like to keep. Don't worry about damaging the jewelry, it will not affect the price we pay.  Of course you are always welcome to bring or send your items with stones.

If you need to send us your items, we ask that you securely package your items and ship them to us using any of the major shipping companies (US Postal Service, FEDEX or UPS). Please insure your package and make sure that you have the ability to track and confirm delivery of your package. We are not responsible for items lost during shipping. How is the value of my gold, silver and platinum determined?

Three things determine the price of your gold, silver and platinum. 1. Purity (karat) 2. the weight of your items  3. the actual price of gold, silver or platinum on the day we test your items. We use these three figures to pay you the highest amount possible for your gold, silver and platinum items.

If I paid $300 for a gold necklace will I get at least that much?

The honest answer is "it depends". If it was purchased many years ago there is a good chance you might receive that much or more. If it was purchased recently or contains many stones then most likely you will not receive that much.

Jewelry purchased from a retail jeweler has been marked up many times to cover the cost of craftsmanship, jewelry design, stones and the cost of operating a jewelry store. When we purchase your jewelry we are paying for the actual scrap or "melt value" of gold, silver or platinum in each piece.

How long will it take to receive my money?

When you bring your items to our office you will be paid on the spot with a local check which you can cash immediately. In most instances, when you send us your items, we will contact you with an offer within 24hrs of receiving your items. After accepting our offer you should receive your check within 1-3 business days.

What if I send or bring my items to you then decide not to accept your offer?

It's simple, just walk away. All of our appraisals are free. We will never try to pressure you into selling your items. We want you to be happy with your transaction and tell all of your family and friends about us.

If you sent your items to us just let us know that you are not accepting our offer. We will immediately ship all of your items back to you with insurance and tracking at our expense, no questions asked.

Is there anything else I should know before I send or bring you my gold, silver or platinum?

Yes, please be aware that once you have accepted our offer your items will be melted and cannot be retrieved under any circumstances. Also, in some instances we may need to invasively test your jewelry.
